Ecommerce Store Migration India —
Zero Data Loss. SEO Safe.
Migrate from Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, OpenCart, or any platform to Shopify or WooCommerce. All data preserved. All redirects in place. Zero ranking drops. 60+ migrations delivered.
Platform Migrations We Handle
We've migrated from every major ecommerce platform. Here are the most common paths.
Full product catalogue, customer records, historical orders, and SEO URL migration. Magento's complex database schema is mapped and transformed — including product attributes, tier pricing, and configurable products.
Move from a self-hosted WooCommerce store to the managed Shopify ecosystem. Products, variants, images, customers, orders, subscriptions, and reviews all migrated. Custom WooCommerce checkout logic re-implemented where needed.
Platform switch preserving the full BigCommerce catalogue structure, category hierarchy, and customer data. All Stencil theme functionality re-built in custom Shopify Liquid.
For brands outgrowing Shopify's checkout constraints or needing deeper Indian gateway integration. Full data migration with custom PHP theme on the WooCommerce side.
Exit legacy platforms with no further vendor support. Full catalogue, order history, and customer migration — often with a complete redesign of the storefront as part of the move.
Migrate basic stores to a real ecommerce platform. Products and content migrated; full Shopify theme or WooCommerce theme built as part of the process. Significant performance improvement post-migration.
Everything We Migrate — Checklist
We don't just move products. We move your entire store.
How We Run Your Migration
A rigorous, proven process that keeps your store live throughout and protects your SEO equity.
Data Audit & Migration Plan
We export a sample of your store data and audit it — product count, variant complexity, customer record fields, order volume, and URL structure. We produce a written migration plan: what moves, how it maps to the new platform, what gets rebuilt, and what the cutover process looks like.
New Store Build (Parallel)
We build the new store in a private environment — theme development, app installation, payment gateway setup — while your current store continues trading. Zero disruption to your live sales during the build phase.
Data Migration to Staging
All data is migrated to the staging environment and validated: product counts checked, image integrity verified, customer records spot-checked, order totals reconciled. We use both automated scripts and manual spot-checks.
SEO Audit & Redirect Mapping
We crawl your existing site with Screaming Frog, extract all live URLs, and map them to the new platform's URL structure. 301 redirects are implemented and tested. We preserve existing meta titles and descriptions where they're performing well.
Cutover & Launch
DNS cutover is planned for a low-traffic window (typically Sunday night). We do a final data sync from the live store, flip DNS, run through a launch checklist (checkout, payment, emails, redirects), and monitor for 48 hours. You typically have under 15 minutes of actual downtime.
What Our Migration Clients Say
"Magento 2 with 8,000 SKUs migrated to Shopify. Every product, every customer, every order — all there. Zero data loss. Google rankings didn't move. This team genuinely knows what they're doing."
"Our WooCommerce store was a maintenance nightmare. Sigill migrated us to Shopify in 4 weeks. The new theme is faster, the checkout is cleaner, and we don't spend our weekends fixing plugin conflicts anymore."
"BigCommerce to Shopify Plus. Complex B2B pricing tiers, custom product bundling, and 15,000 customer accounts. All migrated perfectly. The cutover was 4 hours and we were back live before our US customers woke up."
Frequently Asked Questions
A straightforward migration (under 1,000 SKUs, standard product types, one payment gateway) typically takes 3–4 weeks. Complex migrations with 10,000+ SKUs, custom product attributes, subscriptions, or B2B pricing take 6–10 weeks. The majority of the time is spent building and validating the new store — the actual data migration is fast.
Not if the migration is done correctly. We crawl your existing site before migration, map every live URL to its new equivalent, and implement HTTP 301 redirects on day one of launch. We preserve existing meta titles and descriptions. We monitor Google Search Console for 30 days post-launch and address any ranking changes. In 60+ migrations, we have not lost a client's Google rankings.
Everything: products (with all variants, images, metafields, and custom attributes), collections/categories, customer accounts (with addresses), historical orders, coupon codes, gift cards, product reviews (from Yotpo, Judge.me, Stamped, etc.), blog posts, and pages. We also migrate SEO meta data — titles, descriptions, and alt text.
Your live store continues to trade normally throughout the build phase — typically 3–8 weeks. The only downtime is during the DNS cutover, which we schedule for a low-traffic window (usually late Sunday night IST). Typical downtime is 15–60 minutes. We do a final data sync from the live store immediately before cutover to catch any orders placed during the build phase.
Yes. Migrating subscription data is one of the more complex aspects — active subscriptions, billing dates, payment methods (tokenised), and subscription product configurations all need to move. The approach depends on your existing subscription provider and your target platform. We've migrated WooCommerce Subscriptions (with Razorpay) and Recharge subscriptions.
Most clients choose to redesign during migration — you're rebuilding the store anyway, so it's the perfect time. We can keep the existing design if budget is tight, but a migration is an ideal moment to also address performance, mobile experience, and conversion optimisation. We offer both options.
We have a rollback plan for every migration. If the new store has a critical issue at launch, we can repoint DNS back to the original store within minutes. This has never been necessary in our migrations — our staging validation process catches issues before cutover — but the option exists.
Yes, though it requires more discovery work upfront to understand your existing data model. We've migrated from custom PHP stores, custom Django stores, and legacy ASP.NET stores to Shopify and WooCommerce. The migration complexity (and cost) depends on how well-structured your existing data is.
